The ATHE Diploma in Healthcare Management is a 120-credit qualification. Learners must complete the six mandatory units totaling 70 credits. They must complete either Managing Finance in the Public Sector or Financial Decision Making for Managers.

A further four or five units totaling a minimum of 50 credits from the list of optional units must be completed to achieve a minimum of 120 credits for Diploma 7.

Entry Requirements

For entry of ATHE Level 6 Diploma in Healthcare Management qualification, learners must possess:

Relevant NQF/QCF/RQF Level 5 diploma or equivalent overseas qualification as recognised by the UK.
The learner must be 18 years or older at the beginning of the course.

Career Progression

Learners who complete this qualification can progress onto an MSc programme at a higher education institution such as the University of Portsmouth, onto the Level 7 Diploma in Healthcare Management or directly into employment in an associated profession.
